Mohinder Kharbanda (Gurgaon)

I began my career in June 1984 and pursued my career in corporate world up to May, 2019. Began my own practice from July 2019. Almost from beginning, I worked in listed entities. My last three companies in chronology order were Monnet Ispat & Energy Limited, Jaiprakash Associates Limited and Jaypee Infratech Limited. I got the exposure of most sought after corporate assignments/events of their times. I also handled successfully the so far most complex Insolvency Process that began in June, 2017 that is still pending before NCLAT and Supreme Court for many underlying issues.

Qualifications: Did my B.Com. from Bhagat Singh College, LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, Maurice Nagar, Delhi University. After completion of my C.S. I began my career in June, 2014. Am a Qualified Social Auditor from NISM and member of Institute of Social Auditors of India of ICAI.

Exposure: I have first-hand exposure in pursuing UN’s Sustainable Development Goal No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 in my capacity as Trustee of Nayee Roshni O2, a Non Profit Trust and Advisor— Operations of I LIGHT GLOBAL, a New Jersey U.S.A. based Non-Profit Organisation. My advisory role includes overseeing the operations of about 22 branches in India. More than 1200 underprivileged children are being benefitted through Volunteer based model by imparting non-formal education to non-school going children, girl empowerment by providing vocational skills, computer education. It is also working for child rights, health & nutrition, upliftment from poverty gender equality etc..

Authorship: Completed the assignment of writing the book 100 Landmark Judgments of NCLAT – an Insight into IBC published by IIP-ICSI.
